Family

                Parents:  Henry Wardlaw Thompson and Catherine Berry Thompson (both deceased)

                Brothers:  John Milton and Joe Delano (both deceased)

                Sisters:  Fannie T. Williams (deceased). Catherine Thompson-Nesbitt

                Other Family members:  Nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Henry attended New Deal High School in Starr, SC.  He was an outdoorsman as he loved hunting, fishing and bringing home stray animals to make his pets.  He had the gift of putting things together and joined his father as an apprentice in the auto repair business.  He was still giving diagnostic and repair information by phone during his illness.

Everyone loved being around him.  He had an humble and kind spirit that led many to become his friend. 

Henry often expressed appreciation for those who helped during his illness:  longtime companion Sallie Willingham; Tillery, Tiffany, and Asia Williams; Eddie Joyce Green; Doris and Faheem Shabazz; and Ann and Ilene Berry.
