Thomas Edward Chatman

Thomas Edward Chatman was born in Anniston, AL to Thomas Earl and Barbara Ann Fleming Chatman on May 2, 1956.  He graduated from Anniston High School in 1974.  On March 17,1979, he married Diana Jenkins.  Through this union, they have a daughter, LaRosa.

Thomas served in the US Army and the US Navy.  After his military service, he began a career in Civil Service at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL.  There, he worked for the US Department of Defense for 30 years, and retired as Director of EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity).  

During his career, Thomas often mentored active duty and civil service young professionals. He also earned a Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering.  After retirement, he and his wife relocated to Lawrenceville, GA.  

Thomas was a fun-loving person.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; traveling, going to movies, playing Xbox, creating CDs and designing DVDs.  He also enjoyed reading, playing basketball, watching football, shooting pool, and working in the yard.
