I am deeply sorry for your loss, Stevens family. When times like these arise, what we need most is comfort and hope. So, what I wanted to share with you, is the encouraging hope that the bible promises. John 5:28, 29 says, that 'the dead will hear his voice', that is, the voice of God's Son, 'and come out. So God, by means of His Son, Jesus, is going to resurrect those who have died. The Bible also promises, that the conditions they will be resurrected to will be much better. If you would like, you can email me, and I would be happy to share that with you as well. In the meantime, Isaiah 41:10 tells us, not to be afraid or be anxious, for God will help us. I hope these scriptures offer you comfort.

Michelle and Bernard, you are in my prayers. The weeks spent at my aunt's next door and coming over to your home to play are great memories that will be cherished in my heart forever. Your mom treated us like one of her own. Pendleton is a better place because he allowed your mom to bloom and share her talent there.
