Michael Jerome Prince

Michael Jerome Prince, 60, of 1003 Rich Drive, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016. Michael was born February 20, 1956 to the late Wilson Prince and Helena Holmes Prince.
Michael was a fun-loving, charismatic businessman, who was a friend to anyone and everyone he met. He was a member of Thompson Centennial United Methodist Church. Born in Anderson, he graduated from Westside High School in 1974 and furthered his studies at St. Augustine College in Raleigh, NC. When he returned to Anderson, Michael worked for many years with the Coca-Cola Company. He, in partnership with his wife, also managed several rental properties in the Upstate. Michael was a skilled, multi-talented craftsman who could build, create, or repair anything he put his mind and hands to.
He is survived by two beautiful daughters, Yasmin Prince of Augusta, GA, and Ashley Prince of Greensboro, NC; grandson, Andre Prince of Greensboro, NC; a son, Elijah Garcia of Houston, TX; five sisters, Malinda Kinard, Shirley Diane (Wayne) Gray, and Priscilla Burriss, all of Anderson, SC, Prevolia Harper of Woodbridge, VA, and Minnie Ruth Austin of Camden, NJ; two brothers, James Wilson Prince of Anderson, SC and Gregory (Onaree) Prince of Belton, SC; a “like a sister” reared in the home,Judy (Wallace) Williams of Anderson, SC, and former spouse/friend Gwendolyn R. Prince.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Robert
and Julia Holmes, and Dessie Prince; and a nephew, Michael "Jake" Prince.
