Brian Lee Bentley
Obituary
Brian Lee Bentley was born to Mr. Ernest and Mrs. Mary L. Bentley on July 8, 1951. He entered eternal rest on April 15th at Charlie Norwood Veterans Medical Center in Augusta, GA, surrounded by his loving family.
Brian, a 1969 graduate of Westside High School, Anderson, SC, entered the U.S. Navy after graduation. He served two years and received an Honorable Discharge on August 23,1972.
Brian joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age and was very active until his health began to decline. He served as a member of the Usher Board and as a member of 2 choirs.
In addition to church, Brian enjoyed playing golf and was an avid bowler, having earned countless accolades. Brian enjoyed fishing with friends and family, as well.
Though Brian was preceded in death by his parents, he leaves to honor and cherish his memories, his three children: Marlon L. (Nykia) Bentley, Antonio (Melody) Freeman, and Sonta K. McFadden.
Other survivors include his four siblings: Marion E. Bentley, Stephen L. Bentley, Vanessa Lee, and Tory White; 11 Grandchildren and three Great-Grandchildren.
