Obituary

Frank Mauldin Jr. was born in Anderson, South Carolina, March 4, 1938 to the late Frank Sr. and Tecora Mauldin.  He was united in marriage to Narcio C. Mauldin and to this union were born two children.

Frank was rooted in Saint Paul Baptist Church from childhood.  He walked to church with his best friend, the late Alphonso Norris Jr.  He was committed to mentoring youth and introduced them to the church.  He served in various roles at St. Paul including becoming a Deacon.  The values he learned led to his passion for helping others.  He served his community by providing direction for gainful employment, higher education and life skills for success.  This passion led to numerous recognitions and acknowledgements including an Honor from the S.C. Professional Association for Access and Equality.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 56 years, Narcio C Mauldin, a son Vincent Mauldin (Shannon) of Albuquerque, New Mexico and daughter Vickie Williams (Steven) of Overland Park, KS; granddaughter, Stacie Nicole Williams.  He also loved and supported Jacqueline Rickman (Curtis), James Cowan Jr., Laurie Turner (William), Lisa Davis and their families.  He leaves to cherish his memory, a sister-in-law (Doris Wilson), brother-in-law (Theadore Quarles) and numerous relatives.
