MOM’S LIFE PROFILE
Patricia Ann Little-Reed was born in Manhattan, NY, on March 21, 1938, to Mary Floride Little Wardlaw and Richard Franklin Wardlaw. At an early age, Mom married John H. Reed and later had 7 Children: Carolyn S. Reed, Debra E. Reed Hunter (Albert), Phyllis M. Reed Jones (Aaron), Johnnie Reed Jones, Frederick A. Reed (Deborah), Timothy B. Reed (Loretta) and Richard A. Reed. Mom raised two grandchildren in the home, Derrick and LaQuayla Reed.
Mom worked at Anderson Memorial Hospital for years. She worked for over 30 years at Owens Corning Fiberglas Anderson Plant where she retired. She then worked at Iva Post Acute Rehabilitation Center, Iva, SC.
Mom joined Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age where she remained active until she followed her son to Center Faith in Pendleton, SC to support him in his ministry. She was active in Center Faith with her besties and friends.
Mom loved to work word scrambles, enjoyed watching sports and crazy Judge shows. She was also an avid reader prior to her illness. Mom was extremely direct, but later I found out she was a dry comedian.
After an abbreviated hospital stay, Mom moved to NHC Rehabilitation Center where she made new friends.
Mom fought a good fight but succumbed to several medical challenges. She departed this earthly life on 21 January 2025.
Mom loved flowers, but instead of flowers we would appreciate donations in her memory to: Anderson County Meals on Wheels, 105 S. Fant Street, Anderson SC 29625.
The family is receiving friends at 103 Saddlebrook Dr. Anderson, SC 29625.
